Schloss Bellevue Pop-Up Exhibition Overwhelms Server

A planned art exhibition at Schloss Bellevue in Berlin, the official residence of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, has caused technical issues on the ticket booking platform due to overwhelming demand. The Akademie der Künste reported delays and server problems, assuring that tickets are still available and that they are working to resolve the issues. The exhibition, titled "Freiraum," will transform the palace into a pop-up gallery from June 13 to 28, before the building undergoes a multi-year renovation. Works by Katharina Grosse, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Monica Bonvicini will be on display. Visitors must book free timed-entry tickets in advance. Steinmeier and his staff will vacate the palace and the Bundespräsidialamt before the summer break, with emptied rooms used for the exhibition.
