Schiattarella Associati, the Roman architecture firm founded by Amedeo Schiattarella and now led by partners Andrea and Paola Schiattarella, is constructing the Culture Squares complex in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The project, set for completion in 2023, includes the Red Sea Film Festival Palace and the first teamLab Borderless museum in the Middle East, featuring over 50 immersive installations. Located on the Al-Arbaeen lagoon, the complex connects the historic Al Balad district to the waterfront via a tree-lined avenue. The firm is also working on the Diriyah Art Futures in Riyadh, a computer-based art museum under the Vision 2030 initiative. Andrea Schiattarella describes the project as an intersection between identity and future, reflecting Saudi Arabia's push for cultural regeneration.
