Schiaparelli's Dante-Inspired Collection: Fashion Meets Hell

Daniel Roseberry, creative director of Schiaparelli, presented a haute couture collection inspired by Dante Alighieri's Inferno at Paris Fashion Week. The collection featured three standout gowns with photorealistic embroidered heads of a lion, wolf, and leopard, referencing the three beasts guarding Dante's infernal gate. The show was attended by Kylie Jenner and Chiara Ferragni, who later wore two Schiaparelli haute couture gowns at the Sanremo Festival: one with a golden breast and another inspired by Yves Klein's body painting. Models Naomi Campbell, Irina Shayk, and Shalom Harlow walked the runway. The collection sparked controversy among animal rights activists.
