Scegli il Contemporaneo: guided tours of contemporary art in Rome

Senza titolo, a cultural association, is hosting Scegli il Contemporaneo from November 11 to December 16, 2017. This initiative includes guided tours and workshops at prominent locations in Rome such as Galleria Nazionale, Cinecittà, MAXXI, Chiostro del Bramante, Fondazione Volume!, and Villa Farnesina. The second edition, titled "Be static with movement," investigates the interplay between space, architecture, and contemporary art. Curator Elena Lydia Scipioni states that the project seeks to provide a fresh perspective on museums and exhibitions, fostering connections among various sites. The program begins on November 11 at Galleria Nazionale, showcasing works by artists like Gabriele Basilico and Cy Twombly. A guided tour of "Beirut. Sounding the Neighbors" at MAXXI is scheduled for November 18, while families can enjoy "Enjoy. L'arte incontra il divertimento" at Chiostro del Bramante on November 19 and December 3.
