SCAD Class of 2026 Showcases Optimistic, Trauma-Informed Fashion

At the SCAD Museum, the Savannah College of Art and Design presented its Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear show, featuring more than 60 graduating seniors. The outdoor event included a performance by Lil Buck and Jeremiah Ellis, set against a textile installation created by Janet Echelman. Dean Dirk Standen highlighted the students' resilience despite facing personal challenges. Among the standout menswear pieces were Jimmy Kim's gray flannel, Jack Wilkins' distressed post-Ivy styles, and Nicholas Oyakhire's all-black ensemble. The show concluded with six evening dresses, crafted under the mentorship of Peter Copping. Collections inspired by romance were presented by Jinseo Park, Gabriella Simone Fox, Zoya Polivchak, Jamie Domrude, and Jane Jurchak, while material innovations were showcased by Mohan Yang, Luca Bellini, Lily Arnold, Ruby Yao, Brynn Sullivan, Tabitha Wagner, and Andrea Ibarra.
