Saudi Art Council launches 2017 21,39 Jeddah Arts program with 'safar' theme curated by Bardaouil and Fellrath
The Saudi Art Council has revealed plans for the fourth iteration of its 21,39 Jeddah Arts initiative, scheduled to run from February through May 2017. Curated by Sam Bardaouil and Till Fellrath under the thematic title 'safar'—Arabic for travel—the program will examine concepts of movement and journey as catalysts for personal and creative development. A series of opening events is planned for February 1–4, 2017, across multiple venues in Jeddah. The annual program traditionally includes special exhibitions, workshops, and educational forums.
