The Saudi Arabia Museum of Contemporary Art (SAMoCA@Jax) presents 'In the Night,' a group exhibition featuring over thirty local and international artists from Saudi Arabia, France, Morocco, Tunisia, India, Japan, Argentina, Pakistan, Croatia, Australia, and the UK. The show explores nocturnal themes through sensory experiences, large canvases, installations, sculptures, and video works. Organized by the Museums Commission under the Ministry of Culture, the exhibition opened in February and runs until the end of May. SAMoCA@Jax, the country's first contemporary art museum, recently launched as part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative to foster a vibrant art ecosystem and empower local artists. The press release highlights the museum's role as a platform for cultural exchange and a hub for contemporary art in the Arab region. An image by Saudi artist Muhannad Shono, titled 'A Song of Silence' (2024), accompanies the announcement.
