Sarah Schneider’s Landscape Paintings Capture Nature’s Light

Artist Sarah Schneider showcases a series of abstract paintings inspired by landscapes and nature, primarily utilizing acrylics on canvas or wood panels, with occasional mixed media and collage elements. Her artistic journey commenced unexpectedly when she created a mural for her first child's nursery, reigniting a childhood passion. For the past ten years, she has painted during her children's nap times. Schneider studied at the Silvermine School of Art and the Rowayton Art Center, learning from artists Joseph Fama and Cat Tesla. Growing up and residing along the New England coast, her work often reflects this environment. She produces small color studies on-site to inform her larger studio works, which include titles such as “Beach Path in Autumn” and “Quiet Harbor,” aiming to inspire peace and joy through her connection to nature.
