Sara Piccinini Named Director of Collezione Maramotti in Reggio Emilia

Sara Piccinini assumed leadership of Collezione Maramotti on 1 January 2020. The private collection, founded by Max Mara's Achille Maramotti, is located in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Piccinini joined the institution at its 2007 opening, initially managing communications, exhibitions, publications, and artist residencies. Her promotion to senior coordinator in 2018 involved programming development both onsite and externally. This role included forging partnerships with museums and cultural organizations internationally. Piccinini's extensive institutional experience prepared her for the directorship.
