Sara D’Uva’s Dreamlike Photography at AOCF58 Gallery in Rome

Sara D’Uva (born Larino, 1981; lives in Rome) presents a solo exhibition at AOCF58 Galleria Bruno Lisi in Rome. The show explores the constant communication between reality and imagination through photography. D’Uva’s images create an immersive, dreamlike universe that challenges conventional beliefs. Using subtle optical effects, she transforms photographs into unexplored worlds that lead viewers from appearance to essence. The experience is described as a mystical journey, reminiscent of Dante entering a dark forest. The exhibition is curated by Michele Luca Nero, an artist and writer from Agnone (born 1979), who began painting at age six and has a background in theater and poetry inherited from his father Francesco and grandfather Valentino.
