Sapienza Students Design Memorial for San Lorenzo Bombing
Sapienza University of Rome is currently featuring an exhibition titled "1943-2018 Memory and Public Space: 12 Projects to Remember the Bombing of San Lorenzo," located at the Casa della Memoria e della Storia. As a component of Open House Rome, this display includes twelve innovative projects developed by Master’s degree candidates in Design, Visual Communication, and Multimedia, under the supervision of professors Cecilia Cecchini and Maurizio Di Puolo. The aim is to create a lasting tribute to the San Lorenzo neighborhood, which continues to bear the impact of World War II bombings, particularly the tragic event on July 19, 1943.
