Santa Maria della Scala launches online magazine smsmag.it

The Santa Maria della Scala in Siena has introduced smsmag.it, a digital publication that brings back Il Giornale di Santa Maria della Scala Siena (2000–2011). Under the direction of Daniele Pittèri, this weekly magazine focuses on cultural innovation, interviews, and art news. It chronicles the institution's past and aspires to serve as a guide for urban renewal and cultural well-being. Journalist Lorenza Fruci oversees the project, collaborating with students from the University of Siena's Master in Business Communication for research efforts. The magazine is divided into four sections: Diario, Interviste, Innovazione, and Scenari futuri, featuring a variety of media, including texts, videos, and a YouTube channel. Fruci emphasizes the importance of recounting contemporary events while reestablishing the relevance of Santa Maria della Scala to Siena.
