Sanghee Song Awarded 2017 Korea Artist Prize with Exhibition at National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art
Sanghee Song has been named the recipient of the 2017 Korea Artist Prize. The award is presented by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) in collaboration with the SBS Culture Foundation to honor artists advancing Korean contemporary art. In February 2017, Song and three other finalists—Sunny Kim, Kelvin Kyungkun Park, and Bek Hyunjin—each received 40 million won (about £26,000) to produce new works.
