Sandretto Collection Opens at Palazzo Biscari in Catania

The prestigious Sandretto Re Rebaudengo collection has established itself at Palazzo Biscari in Catania, revitalizing the historic palace's cultural presence. This initiative, curated by Ludovico Pratesi and Pietro Scammacca, is a collaboration with the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, led by Patrizia Sandretto, and Unfold. It receives support from Fondazione Terzo Pilastro-Internazionale, under the chairmanship of Emmanuele Emmanuele. A highlight of the exhibition is Alicja Kwade's environmental installation "WeltenLinie," initially created for the 2017 Venice Biennale, curated by Christine Macel, located in the Salone delle Feste. The exhibition "La stanza analoga" showcases works from 20 artists, including Ludovica Carbotta and Roberto Cuoghi, in the palace's eastern wing apartments, which are open to the public for the first time. The exhibition continues until August 24.
