Sandra Kaji O’Grady Explores Risk and Danger in 'Boding' at Lismore Regional Gallery

Sandra Kaji O’Grady, a New South Wales artist with a background in architecture and philosophy, presents 'Boding' at Lismore Regional Gallery from 2 April to 24 May 2026. Her practice investigates gaps between text-based meaning and visual codes, referencing camouflage, commercial signage, misprints, interference patterns, and skywriting. The exhibition employs collage, digital printmaking, hardedge abstraction, installation, and trompe l’oeil painting, focusing on the communication and monitoring of risk and danger—from banal trip hazards to existential catastrophe.
