SanDisk Unveils New CFexpress 4.0 Type B Card and Expanded SDXC Capacities at NAB 2026
During NAB 2026, SanDisk introduced three new products in its Extreme PRO lineup: a CFexpress 4.0 Type B card along with enhancements to its SDXC UHS-II V90 and V60 cards, both now featuring 2 TB capacities. The CFexpress 4.0 Type B card boasts impressive speeds of 3,700 MB/s for reading and 3,500 MB/s for writing, supporting up to 4 TB, specifically designed for 12K production needs. The V90 cards offer 310 MB/s read and 305 MB/s write speeds, while the V60 cards provide 300 MB/s read and 250 MB/s write. A 2 TB V90 card can hold 1,118 minutes of 8K video at 30 fps. V90 cards are currently available, while the CFexpress 4.0 Type B and V60 cards will launch in June 2026. Pricing details have not been disclosed.
