San Francisco Art Scene Booms with Untitled and FOG Fairs in January 2018

According to a report by Americans for the Arts, San Francisco's cultural sector is responsible for generating $1.5 billion in revenue and provides jobs for more than 39,000 individuals. The recent renovation of SFMOMA by Snøhetta has revitalized the city's art landscape. In January 2018, two significant art fairs are scheduled: the Untitled Art Fair, which Jeff Lawson established in Miami in 2012, will host its second San Francisco edition from January 12-14 at the Palace of Fine Arts, curated by Manuela Mozo, featuring 50 galleries from 9 countries. Meanwhile, the FOG Design+Art Fair, now in its fifth year, will take place from January 11-14 at Fort Mason Center, with a benefit gala on January 10 for SFMOMA's architecture and design departments, showcasing 45 international galleries chosen from 95 submissions. SFMOMA's programming for 2018 will include exhibitions featuring works by Robert Rauschenberg, Louise Bourgeois, Walter De Maria, Walker Evans, and Kerry Tribe.
