Samsung's 'Design is an Act of Love' opens at Milan Design Week 2026

Samsung Electronics presents 'Design is an Act of Love', an exhibition of twelve immersive spaces at Superstudio Più during Milan Design Week 2026, running from 20 to 26 April. The show is conceived as an open lab exploring human-centered design and the integration of technology into daily life. Chief design officer Mauro Porcini stated the event addresses a cultural turning point where the question is not just what we build, but why and for whom. The exhibition begins with 'The Welcome Show', a one-minute symphony of AI devices demonstrating collaborative harmony. 'Unfold Your Story' highlights foldable phones as a medium for self-expression. A 'Wearable and Culinary Intelligence' space showcases conceptual products supporting wellbeing and pleasure. The central 'Forum' hosts talks and dialogue. 'XR Experience' demos Galaxy XR. Two audio-visual environments—'Transparent Symphony' using transparent Micro LED displays and 'All That Music' with emotionally expressive speakers—explore audio technology. 'Two Expressions of the Same Technology' presents two design archetypes of a 130-inch Micro RGB display. 'Artful Living' features the Samsung S95H OLED TV in a gallery-like setting. 'Glimpse of Tomorrow' offers a future preview without definitive answers. The exhibition concludes with 'Goodbye Show'. Porcini hopes visitors leave inspired by technology that supports wellbeing, creativity, and identity.
