Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Moringa Supplements Investigated by CDC

An outbreak of salmonella associated with moringa supplement capsules is currently under investigation by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). On May 25, Mogo Moringa LLC recalled two lots of its Pure Moringa Oleifera capsules after 18 individuals in 14 states reported illnesses. These products were distributed throughout the country. The CDC recommends that consumers inspect their supplements and dispose of any items that are part of the recall.
