Saint Laurent Opens Babylone Art and Book Store in Paris

Saint Laurent, the renowned French luxury fashion brand, has launched Saint Laurent Babylone, an art, book, and record shop located at 6 rue de Grenelle in the seventh arrondissement of Paris, the former residence of founders Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé. Under the curation of creative director Anthony Vaccarello, the store showcases a minimalist design with Haussmannian influences and hosts various events, including exhibitions, DJ performances, and author readings. This venture enhances the Saint Laurent Rive Droite Editions (SLRD) initiative, collaborating with artists such as Cai Guo-Qiang and Jeanloup Sieff. The brand's commitment to art includes the establishment of museums in Paris and Marrakech in 2017 and the inception of Saint Laurent Productions in 2023. Additionally, the Fondation Pierre Bergé launched the YVES SAINT LAURENT IN MUSEUMS series in 2022 at six institutions in Paris.
