Sacred Art School Firenze launches crowdfunding for inaugural exhibition and workshop
Sacred Art School, the only school of sacred art in Italy and Europe, based in Florence, has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Eppela platform to support its first exhibition and a related workshop. The exhibition titled 'In una Carne' will be held in November at the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, showcasing works by students and teachers, and introducing the teachings of Saint John Paul II on the Theology of the Body. The main goal is to fund the concluding event on December 12: a workshop on 'Sacred Art and Corporeality' bringing together scholars of philosophy, theology, and art history, and promoting 25 emerging artists from the school. The crowdfunding target is €10,000, with co-financing from Fondazione ChiantiBanca via the CrowdChianti program, provided upon reaching half the goal. Rewards for contributors include the exhibition catalog and artworks by students and teachers. The campaign ends on December 7.
