Sacha Turchi's 'Tradere' at Davide Paludetto, Turin
Sacha Turchi (Rome, 1988) presents 'Tradere' in the Project Room #4 of Davide Paludetto in Turin. The artist transforms the exhibition space into a silent dialogue with history, focusing on tradition at risk of disappearing. Over 200 handmade rag dolls lie on the floor, each sewn from worn trousseaus donated in memory of past customs. Each doll embodies the women who built, lived, and consumed those linens. Through an immersive spatial construction, Turchi invites viewers into an imaginary conversation with the stories behind each heirloom.
