Sabrina Carpenter and Stevie Nicks Duet at 2026 Met Gala

other · 2026-05-05

During the 2026 Met Gala, themed "Costume Art," a memorable performance unfolded at the Temple of Dendur featuring Sabrina Carpenter and Stevie Nicks. Carpenter, who had recently headlined Coachella, kicked off her set with tracks from her albums Man’s Best Friend (2025) and Short n’ Sweet (2024), such as "House Tour," "Espresso," and "Please, Please, Please." She showcased two stunning outfits: a Versace Tribute dress from spring 2018 adorned with Andy Warhol’s silkscreens of Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, and a golden fringed dress by Bob Mackie. Accompanied by a five-piece orchestra, a four-member band, and four dancers choreographed by Jasmine "JB" Badie, Carpenter transitioned to Joshua Henry, who recited Walt Whitman’s "I Sing the Body Electric." Nicks then took the stage in a vintage Morgane LeFay dress and Margi Kent jacket, adorned with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. She performed four songs, including a duet of Fleetwood Mac’s "Landslide" with Carpenter, followed by "Gypsy," "Edge of Seventeen," and concluded with "Don’t Stop Thinking About Tomorrow," featuring Carpenter and a 12-person choir. Earlier, Henry had opened the red carpet in a striking scarlet Bode suit, singing "I Wanna Dance with Somebody," supported by a 12-person choir, eight dancers, and a four-piece band, with choreography by Ellenore Scott and music production by Joseph Abate.
