Sabina I House: Adaptive Reuse by Atempo Arquitectura in Ecuador

Atempo Arquitectura has completed Sabina I House, an adaptive reuse project in Ecuador that transforms a family home into a residential complex. The 415 m² project, finished in 2025, preserves the memory of the existing house while adapting it for new living arrangements. Lead architects Juan José Valdiviezo and Camila Jimenez oversaw the design, with a technical team including Mariana Camila Perez Calle and Karol Paucay. Engineering consultants include Galo Gallegos Jimenez (civil), Luis Tacuri Guaman (electrical), Juan Guartan (lighting), and Jorge Eduardo Brito Soliz (MEP). The project used GRAPHISOFT software and was documented by photographer Pablo Zuñiga. The design was curated by Valentina Díaz.
