Saatchi Art Highlights Five Emerging Artists from The Other Art Fair Spring 2026

The curatorial team at Saatchi Art identified five remarkable artists from The Other Art Fair's Spring 2026 events held in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, London, Chicago, and Dallas. In London, Kimberley Day, who resides on the Isle of Purbeck, produces layered landscape paintings and pastels that capture the essence of location. Yoojin Shin, originally from Seoul and now in New York City, showcased vibrant still lifes at the Brooklyn fair, which have already garnered private collectors in Europe and the US. Jiro Ishihara's work in Chicago, titled 'The Name of the Sky,' consists of inkjet prints mounted on acrylic, illustrating airplane window views and the connection between objects and self. Kiara Aileen Machado, hailing from Lynwood, California, displayed intimate portrait paintings in Los Angeles, while Chelsea Bernardo's 'Radiant Within' series in Dallas features organic stain-dye textures created with paint and water on raw canvas, reflecting her journey through burnout.
