S.DA Transforms JAX District Warehouse into Origin Café & Roasters

Architecture firm S.DA has completed the adaptive reuse of a warehouse in Riyadh's JAX District, transforming it into Origin Café & Roasters, a multi-functional space housing a café, roastery, and workspace. The project, curated by Miwa Negoro and led by architect Duaa Abukhalaf, spans 329 m² and preserves the building's industrial character while integrating modern amenities. The design team included Kshamata Mallur and Humaiz Raafi, with technical support from Hani Troudi. Lighting was handled by Huda Lighting, and services by The Bowery Company.
