Ryuichi Sasaki Architecture Completes Grantage Shin Nakano Residential Building in Tokyo

Ryuichi Sasaki Architecture has completed the Grantage Shin Nakano, a five-story reinforced concrete residential building with a basement level, located in the Chuo district of Nakano, Tokyo. The project, designed in 2024, encompasses a total floor area of 416.68 square meters and contains eleven residential units. The architectural concept aims to give form to the geography that has shaped life in western Tokyo over millennia. The design team includes principal architect Ryuichi Sasaki, with Yuriko Ogura and Anna Osawa contributing to the design. Structural engineering was provided by Tatsumi Terado Structural Studio, lighting consultation by Natsuha Kameoka of Lighting Sou, and the main contractor was Magome Construction Company. Interior design was also handled by Ryuichi Sasaki Architecture. The project was curated by Miwa Negoro, and photographs were taken by Takumi Ota Photography. The building is categorized as apartments, and the project was featured on ArchDaily in its Spanish edition.
