Ryo Kato's 'Neuer Glaube' at Galerie Sara Lily Perez

Ryo Kato's solo show titled 'Neuer Glaube' (New Faith) will be held at Galerie Sara Lily Perez in Berlin from April 24 to May 30, 2026. The Japanese artist, who resides in Berlin, showcases a fusion of oil, acrylic, and collage techniques, depicting themes of roses rising from debris and shattered forms. This exhibition explores issues of environmental decline, political exhaustion, and spiritual disconnection. Born in Niimi, Okayama, in 1978, Kato relocated to Berlin in 1998, where he studied under Wolfgang Petrick and Daniel Richter at the Berlin University of the Arts. His accolades include the I-Shi Prize and recognition from Darmstädter Sezession, with his works featured in museums across Japan and Germany. The gallery is situated in the BIKINI BERLIN area.
