Rya Kleinpeter and Tora Lopez perform at Bunker Artspace during Miami art week 2018

During the 2018 Miami art week, the Bunker Artspace in West Palm Beach featured a performance by collaborative duo Rya Kleinpeter and Tora Lopez. Their work, 'Inner Course: The Agony of It All,' debuted at the opening on December 2, 2018, role-playing Lucille Ball with orange wigs in a scene reminiscent of the 'I Love Lucy' TV show bedroom. They read from books promoting patriarchal myths about womanhood and feminism, breaking into theatrical false tears. The Bunker Artspace, a private collection opened in 2017 by art collector Beth Rudin DeWoody, is located at 444 Bunker Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33405, and is accessible by appointment. It houses over 500 works across two floors, curated by Laura Dvorkin and Maynard Monrow, with a focus on unsettling psychological themes. New exhibitions included 'Her is HERE' curated by Eric Shiner, Director at White Cube, and 'Tales from the Crate Room' curated by E.V. Day, the 2016 Rome Prize winner, both emphasizing women artists.
