Russian strikes hit Ukrainian steel plant, drone downed by NATO

Ukrainian authorities confirmed at least two fatalities and 14 injuries. Concurrently, Ukraine executed a substantial drone strike in the Moscow region, which resulted in one death and ignited a warehouse linked to Russia's top e-commerce company. Romania, sharing a border with Ukraine, reported that an F-18 fighter on NATO air policing duty intercepted a drone that intruded into its airspace, which NATO suggested was likely Russian. This incident follows last week's Russian attack on Ukraine's principal grain export port on the Danube River, near Romania, as both nations ramp up assaults on each other's infrastructure and commercial vessels in the Black Sea. Ukraine has also been targeting Russian oil refineries in recent weeks.
