Russian attack kills 5, wounds over 30 in Ukraine
A massive Russian attack on Ukraine overnight killed at least five people and wounded over 30, according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. Ukraine's General Staff reported that Russia launched 47 ballistic and cruise missiles and 619 drones of various types. Air raid sirens sounded across the country, and residents were urged to seek shelter. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that 11 people were hospitalized in Dnipro after the attack. Ukraine's air force intercepted 580 drones and most of the Kh-101 cruise missiles and Kalibr missiles. The attack is part of Russia's full-scale invasion that began in February 2022.
