Runware Unveils Portable Sonic Inference Pod for AI Data Centers
On Tuesday, Runware introduced the Sonic Inference Pod, a portable and modular data center unit. This innovation is designed to deliver superior inference quality at reduced costs compared to serverless platforms and GPU clouds. Its architecture facilitates quick capacity growth by incorporating additional pods. According to CEO Flaviu Radulescu, distributed computing close to end users will dominate. The pods incorporate a closed-loop cooling system and can be set up within days, in contrast to conventional data centers.
