Ruiz-Healy Art debuts at AIPAD Photography Show with Latina artists Horna, Iturbide, Paredes
Ruiz-Healy Art is participating for the first time in the 45th edition of The Photography Show, organized by the Association of International Photography Fine Art Dealers (AIPAD). The gallery presents works by Kati Horna, Graciela Iturbide, and Cecilia Paredes, three artists whose photography explores cultural narratives through themes of travel, transience, and belonging. Their distinct visual languages range from surrealistic traditions to contemporary approaches, engaging with portraiture, performance, and the female figure. These artists create a dialogue about resilience and the representation of Latina women in the arts. In one notable work, Iturbide photographed Rosario in her kitchen smoking marijuana, titled White Fence. The Photography Show is recognized as the world's longest-running fair dedicated to photography.
