RTA corporate art collection: 30 works by Italian contemporary artists

Founded in 1976 in Marcignago, Italy, RTA is a frontrunner in industrial automation and has curated a collection of 30 contemporary artworks. This initiative began in 2010 under the guidance of CEO Tommaso Rossini during an office renovation, inspired by his grandmother’s visits to Milanese galleries in the 1970s, where she met artists like Lucio Fontana. The collection highlights local and regional Italian artists, including Fosco Grisendi, Kima Guitart, and Marco Lodola, chosen for their artistic quality. Key pieces include Giuliano Tomaino's iron sculpture "Il Volo" (2011) and Fosco Grisendi's "Confidence #43" (2023). The artworks adorn various spaces within the company for employee enjoyment and are featured in the book "Il segno dell'arte nelle imprese" (Marsilio Arte), curated by Ilaria Bonacossa. RTA operates in Italy, Germany, and India, with over one million systems sold that convert electrical to mechanical energy.
