Royal Thai Fashion Exhibition Opens at MAD Paris
The Museum of Decorative Arts (MAD) in Paris has launched a fashion exhibition celebrating 170 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and France, running until November 2026. The showcase features around 200 items, including 40 from Queen Sirikit's wardrobe, who notably collaborated with fashion houses Balmain and Lesage. Her influential 1960 diplomatic tour spanned 14 European countries and the United States. The event was organized with the help of Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, who honors Queen Sirikit’s legacy, including her establishment of the SUPPORT Foundation in 1976. The first Siamese mission to France dates back to 1686.
