In 1968, they established their first factory in Sumirago, followed by the family villa five years later. Missoni received the Neiman Marcus Fashion Award in 1973 and was named Cavaliere del Lavoro in 2014. The brand became a cornerstone of Milan Fashion Week alongside designers like Gianni Versace and Franco Moschino.
