Rosa Aguilar and Emma Marting Present Dual Exhibitions at DiGallery in Sevilla

DiGallery in Sevilla is hosting two simultaneous solo exhibitions from April 16 to June 6, 2026. In Sala A, Rosa Aguilar presents "Forma y función," exploring natural forms through immersive rural experiences and scientific treatises. Her work reveals a visual grammar found in geometry that transcends aesthetics. Born in Granada in 1996, Aguilar bridges objective knowledge with subjective narrative. In Sala B, Emma Marting's "contraformas" examines body, gaze, and self-representation from a gender perspective. Marting, born in Gran Canaria in 1999, critiques hegemonic gazes through sculptural, installation, and audiovisual works. Her metaphorical language references vulnerable bodies adapting to rigid structures. Both artists address distinct themes: Aguilar focuses on universal codes in nature, while Marting confronts power dynamics in representation. The exhibitions showcase their individual practices without collaborative overlap. DiGallery continues its programming with these concurrent shows, highlighting emerging Spanish artists. Aguilar previously exhibited at Espacio Laraña in the Facultad de Bellas Artes. DiGallery has previously organized collective exhibitions like "Homemade, En la esencia de las cosas" in 2020. The gallery remains active in Sevilla's contemporary art scene.
