ROOTS & RITUALS: Dishon Yuldash and Swatchrokorn Wannasorn at Agni Gallery, Bangkok

The exhibition 'ROOTS & RITUALS' at Agni Gallery in Bangkok brings together artists Dishon Yuldash and Swatchrokorn Wannasorn from January 17 to May 17, 2026. The show draws on Lars von Trier's film 'The House That Jack Built' (2018) to explore memory, ritual, and perception. Yuldash presents works such as 'window №1' (Chinese rosewood, aluminum, video, 240x120x40 cm), 'Butterfly' (aluminum, 85×50×70 cm), and 'square with four legs' (aluminum, Chinese rosewood, 120×100×100 cm). Wannasorn contributes 'stump' (painting, fiberglass, 90x85x36 cm), 'before they leave the city they change the uniform' (painting, 220x200 cm), and 'habit' (painting, 40×30 cm). The installation reimagines Lanna architectural and ritual logic, using four columns as mediators between humans, earth, and invisible forces, with sound and vibration connecting body, memory, and space.
