Rooting/Radicarsi: New Art and Design Festival in Milan's Corvetto District
In the Corvetto district of southeast Milan, the cultural center DOPO? is set to host Rooting/Radicarsi, a festival focused on art, design, and innovative practices. Scheduled from October 12 to 22, 2023, the event features an array of activities, including an exhibition, artist residency, discussions, video screenings, concerts, DJ performances, and poetry recitals. The festival kicks off on October 12 with an exhibition by Spanish designer Lucas Muñoz Muñoz, curated by Mr. Lawrence and Salvatore Peluso, who will also develop a sound project during his residency. On October 14, a video projection marathon named Parentesi Cinema will take place. The festivities conclude on October 21 with a celebration marking the opening of DOPO?'s newly expanded space, which will include the editorial office of Scomodo.
