ROOM FOR DREAMS: designboom's immersive week of installations, cinema, and talks at ME Milan Il Duca
During the 2026 Milan Design Week, the ME Milan Il Duca hotel, designed by Aldo Rossi, was transformed by designboom's ROOM FOR DREAMS into an engaging showcase filled with installations and visuals. Highlights included 'Il Sonno Supermarket' by OMA/AMO and SolidNature, featuring stunning onyx and marble displays, and Paf atelier's 'Cinema of Dreams' with its eye-catching reflective fabric. The lobby hosted discussions with design experts like Philippe Starck and Ma Yansong. The Cinema of Dreams project featured daily film screenings curated with Louisiana Channel and filmmakers Bêka and Lemoine. DJ Giovannella Rosa Calix wrapped up the event. Collaborators included SolidNature and Ressence, with support from Pernod Ricard and others, produced by Claudia Decaro and Giulia Geromel.
