Museum Ludwig in Cologne is showcasing 'Give Me Paradox or Give Me Death,' a comprehensive exhibition of American artist Roni Horn, featuring nearly 100 pieces spanning from the 1970s to today. The title is a reinterpretation of Patrick Henry's 1775 statement, providing a conceptual backdrop for the display. Horn's art delves into themes of identity and environmental instability, highlighting significant works such as 'This is Me, This is You' (1997–2000), 'a.k.a.' (2008–09), and 'Soft Rubber Wedge' (1977). The exhibition also includes works on paper, collages from March 2019 to 2020, and recent glass sculptures, as well as 'Portrait of an Image (with Isabelle Huppert)' (2005–06). Horn reflects on climate change's impact on her creations. The exhibition is open until August 11.
