Rome's Smallest Gallery: GA.PP Fits in a 55x45cm Frame
In the Centocelle area of Rome, GA.PP (Galleria Più Piccola del Mondo) serves as a modern art venue situated within a 55x45 cm frame that adorns the living room wall of its founders, Luca Marinucci and Guendalina Piselli. Established in 2021, this initiative features a new artist or creative every two months, showcasing a singular piece in the frame, thereby converting the home into a social hub for meals, drinks, and coffee meet-ups. In summer 2024, GA.PP will extend its reach beyond the home as it joins the Brenta Viva project in Fontaniva, Padua, organized by Gruppo Calma, prompting a reconsideration of the gallery's identity, confined to the same frame area for all artists. Featured artists include Maurizio Iannuzzi, Alice Sciotti, Rya Zenoy, and others. GA.PP is also set to collaborate with Comò in Reggio Emilia for the OFF circuit of Fotografia Europea, focusing on the theme "Avere vent'anni" (Being Twenty). Further details are yet to be revealed.
