Rome's Art Hotel Elizabeth Unique Opens with Site-Specific Works

On February 15, 2018, the Art Hotel Elizabeth Unique, a luxurious establishment in Rome, officially opens its doors, showcasing a collection of artworks curated by Galleria Russo. Situated on Via delle Colonnette near Via del Corso, it is conveniently located near the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Fabrizio Russo, the gallerist, has managed the art installations throughout the hotel, including in areas with saunas and Jacuzzis. Guests can explore the art through the gallery's app. The hotel is already fully booked for its inaugural days, signaling a rebound in luxury tourism. Artists featured include Enrico Benetta and Diego Cerero Molina, with six events planned in collaboration with the gallery, alongside a documentary celebrating the venue's 120th anniversary. Russo highlighted emerging market prospects despite the absence of a fair venue in central Rome.
