Rome-based all-female architecture studio launches crowdfunding for mobile Apecar studio

The all-female architecture studio p.r.o.g.arch_design, based in Rome, has launched a crowdfunding campaign called "Street architecture for people" to purchase an Apecar and equip it as a mobile consultation office. Founded in 2008 by Emilia Parente, Barbara Renzi, Floriana Orlandino, and Gisella Giudice, the studio combines expertise in design, cultural event planning, and restoration. They offer innovative services like Kit and Gift Box packages for inclusive architectural advice, including guidance on permits, furnishings, color palettes, and purchasing. The mobile studio aims to bring architecture to the streets, making the profession accessible to all. A companion app is planned to allow clients to track the Apecar's itinerary. The crowdfunding is hosted on the Produzione dal basso platform until September 30, with the goal of expanding the concept to other cities and creating a network of mobile architects.
