Rome allocates €8.5M for culture: Roma Creativa 365 call open
Rome Capitale has initiated the Roma Creativa 365 public call, designating €8.5 million for cultural initiatives scheduled for 2025-2026. This program seeks to decentralize cultural events and provide activities throughout the year, not just in summer. It comprises three categories: 'Roma tutto l’anno' (€4 million), 'Le Forme del Contemporaneo' (€2.6 million), and 'Lo Spettacolo dal Vivo fuori dal Centro' (€1.9 million). Projects related to theater, dance, music, cinema, visual arts, and workshops are eligible. Preference will be given to proposals that promote heritage, urban renewal, sustainability, gender equality, and intercultural dialogue. The call will be available online by April 2025, with varying deadlines: 'Roma tutto l’anno' (July 1 - October 15), 'Le Forme del Contemporaneo' (August 1 - December 31), 'Lo Spettacolo dal Vivo' (September 1 - November 30). A special emphasis will be placed on the 50th anniversary of Pier Paolo Pasolini's death.
