RomArché 2016: Archaeological Publishing Fair at Terme di Diocleziano

The seventh edition of RomArché, the Archaeological Publishing Fair, is underway at the Terme di Diocleziano in Rome, hosted by the Museo Nazionale Romano until May 29. Organized by Dià Cultura in collaboration with the Soprintendenza Speciale per il Colosseo, the Museo Nazionale Romano, and the Area Archeologica di Roma, the event explores the theme 'Chronos, Kairos and Aion: The Time of Museums.' It features a selection of new and bestselling archaeological publications, the Museum.dià International Conference on Museology, and the Leggere in BiblioArché editorial focus. A new free app maps cultural sites in Rome's periphery, connecting them to the city center, inspired by a passage from the Greek geographer Strabo. The fair aims to transform museums from mere repositories into creative hubs for territorial development.
