Romaeuropa Festival 2022: 80 Shows Across Rome from September to November
Running from September 8 to November 20, 2022, the 37th Romaeuropa Festival takes place at 18 different locations in Rome. It showcases 80 performances and 155 repeats, featuring over 400 artists from five continents. Organized by Fondazione Romaeuropa, under the leadership of Guido Fabiani and Fabrizio Grifasi, notable events include Festival Film Villa Médicis (September 14–19) and Dance Reflection (September 23–29). The music lineup includes Bertolt Brecht's Threepenny Opera, Heiner Goebbels' Liberté d'action, and William Kentridge's O Sentimental Machine (October 28–29). Digital Live presents works by Franz Rosati and Sofia Crespo, while dance highlights feature Roduan Mriziga and Caroline Guiela Nguyen's Fraternité. The festival concludes with Philip Glass's Einstein on the Beach, alongside a podcast by Pietro Turano in Eclissi Talk.
