Roma's Casina di Raffaello children's library turns 15 with special program
In March 2021, the Casina di Raffaello, a children's library located in Villa Borghese since 2006, marks its 15th anniversary. Since June 2020, it has operated almost without interruption, only closing for ten days during the summer. Under the management of Marco Falciano, the celebration includes both online and in-person events in collaboration with partners such as Museo Pietro Canonica and Casa del Cinema. Notable activities feature the 2019 Junior Camp at Piazza di Siena. The library adapted to the pandemic by implementing online programs and safety protocols upon reopening. The age range for children has expanded from 24-36 months to 4-11 years, with workshops emphasizing play, animals, and gardens, alongside online discussions with Silvana Sperati, Francesco Petretti, Bruno Cignini, and Giovanni Mucciaccia.
