Roma Arte in Nuvola postponed to November 2021

festival-fair · 2026-04-27

Roma Arte in Nuvola, a new modern and contemporary art fair directed by Alessandro Nicosia, has been rescheduled for November 17–21, 2021, after multiple delays due to the pandemic. Originally planned for May 2020 at the Nuvola convention center in Rome's EUR district, designed by Massimiliano Fuksas, the fair was first moved to February 2021 to avoid clashes with other fairs, then to May 2021. However, the Nuvola was repurposed as a vaccination center by the Ministry of Health from mid-February to August 2021, forcing another postponement. The organizers, citing the shift of all national and international art fairs to the second half of 2021, have now set definitive dates: November 17 (preview) to 21. Over 100 galleries have already joined. The fair aims to fill a gap in Rome's art fair scene, focusing on modern art with a contemporary section. The venue, La Nuvola, is a landmark convention center.
