ROM's Immersive Bee Exhibition Opens This Summer

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) in Toronto will host 'BEES: A Story of Survival,' an immersive exhibition blending art, science, and technology, from May 16 to October 18, 2026. Developed by National Museums Liverpool in partnership with British artist Wolfgang Buttress, the exhibition features a larger-than-life hive-like structure and multimedia experiences. It explores the 120 million years of bee evolution, 20,000 known species, and their ecological importance. This marks the North American debut of the exhibition.
